Children’s dreams can come
true at Treworgey; here on our 150 acre farm, they can run through a field,
fly a kite, build dams in a stream, climb trees, picnic in a wood, swim in
a warm clear pool; play tennis, ride a pony, help feed animals, hunt for
eggs in the hay, stroke a friendly goat, or build sandcastles and swing
from a climbing frame. Parents, sitting at a garden table in the playground,
can watch over youngsters and at the same time chat and enjoy the fantastic
view. The log climbing frame has a swing, slide and ropes, and nearby a
really big sandpit. This is a popular spot for children and adults alike.
There is an outdoor Badminton court at Coombe, as well as a sandpit.
Indoors, both at Treworgey and at Coombe, there is pool and table tennis,
a wooden train set, building bricks, indoor trikes, games and a Wendy house.
We have shed space for storing your bikes or boat too.
Responsible pet owners are very
welcome to bring up to two well behaved dogs. We have wonderful walks from
the cottage garden gate and enclosed private gardens. Please see our booking
details.
“I have to admit that I thought it would be boring stuck here in the
middle of nowhere....... but we have swum (the pool is lucious, even if
it’s cold outside) and travelled to beaches, cinema, bowling and been
biking and riding. Watch Meg (the collie) if you fly a kite - she’s
hilarious. You can walk to Sandplace station (10 mins) and catch a train
to Looe or lots of places.” Lucy Williamson (aged 15)
