Christmas and New Year at Treworgey is a special time with big outdoor Christmas tree lit up for the festive season. All cottages are provided with a real Christmas Tree.
Mulled local apple juice, yummy mince pies, chocolate yule log and Cornish biscuits await your arrival!

There is lots to do in the area coming up to Christmas and just after New Year. For instance Truro is great for Christmas shopping and the National Trust local houses have special Christmas events. The Eden Project too has special festive events. They have a great outdoor winter ice rink too.

Celebrate New Year at Treworgey

Looe is famous for THE place to spend New Years Eve! Come and enjoy the great atmosphere where the evening starts with the streets full of happy people all in fancy dress. The harbour and boats are lit up - and the celebrations end with a great firework display over the picturesque harbour. There are lots of great restaurants to choose from in Looe and Polperro. The Polperro fisherman's choir are a joy to hear on Christmas Eve.

You can enjoy the freedom from domestic chores here at Treworgey too. Delicious home cooked dinners can be delivered to your cottage most evenings. We have a special extra festive menu at this time. You can even order all your groceries and local yummy cornish food -including local turkey etc..... to await your arrival in your cottage. See meals on our website.

Our cosy information house has loads of holiday information from best beaches to where to find our local all cornish deli. We also have great local organic food for sale here. If you haven't been fooded out in your cottage, there are lots of wonderful resturants nearby that use local produce including our famous freshly caught Looe fish.

All our cottages are warm and cosy with central heating and romantic log fires.

Over half our guests return and Many return regularly with their friends or family, who as the years go by ........ also seem to develop a very special love for Treworgey. Families get together here year after year at this special time. Guests also love the fact that there are wonderful winter walks from your garden gate along our lanes and across Treworgey's beautiful 150 acres of rolling green hills down to the Looe river. Families enjoy our nature walks and wild life quiz around the farm, as well as indoor games and table tennis. If you need some exercise after the indulgences of Christmas, Cornwall is mild enough to grab a racquet and enjoy a winter game on our great court with a view. Our riding school is also open as usual except Christmas day, Boxing day and New Year's day.

If you can tear yourselves away from here, you have the advantage that Cornwall is less crowded than mid summer. We have a wealth of fantastic coastal walks as well as wonderful woodlands. The moors are only 20 minutes away. Added to that, there are lots of empty beaches to stroll along. Bring your family dog too.
