Here on our 150 acre farm, they can run through a field, fly a kite, build dams in a stream, climb trees, picnic in a wood, swim in a warm clear pool, play tennis, ride a pony, help feed animals, hunt for eggs in the hay, stroke a friendly goat, make afternoon tea in the Wendy house, or build sandcastles and swing from a climbing frame.
With an outdoor playground, two indoor playrooms, woodland walks, picnic areas on the farm and pony club afternoons, parents have two problems: the first is trying to tear their children away from Treworgey..... and the is tearing themselves away from their gorgeous cottage or peaceful and relaxing private garden.
For the energetic, we have shed space for storing your bikes or boat too.
You can enjoy the freedom from domestic chores here at Treworgey too. Delicious home cooked dinners can be delivered to your cottage most evenings. You can even order all your groceries and local delicious Cornish food to await your arrival in your cottage. See the 'meals' page.
Our cosy information house has stacks of holiday information from the best beaches to where to find our local all-Cornish deli. We also have great local organic food for sale here. If you haven't been fooded out in your cottage, there are lots of great family friendly restaurants nearby that use local produce including our famous freshly caught Looe fish.
Over half our guests return and many return regularly with families and friends. Families get together here year after year. There are wonderful walks from your garden gate along our lanes and across Treworgey's beautiful 150 acres of rolling green hills down to the Looe river. Families enjoy our nature walks and wild life quiz around the farm, as well as indoor games and table tennis. If you feel like some exercise grab a racquet and enjoy a game on our great tennis court with a view. Our riding school is open too almost every week day throughout the year. We have a wealth of fantastic sheltered small coves with sand and rock pools nearby. The big surfing beaches on the north coast are only an hour away.
Our prices include all your central heating and electricity, and really comfortable beds, with crisp white linen and towels, plus fresh flowers.
